Can I work full-time and complete this program?
是的. Most of our students work full-time while completing the program. Students may choose from hybrid (a mixture of on-campus and online) or online courses.
What if I have transfer credits? 我的程序能运行得更快吗?
是的. You may transfer credits to PG电子APP as long as it’s from an accredited institution, and you have received a “C-” or higher in the class.
What courses do you offer in advanced modalities?
PG电子APP offers courses in computed tomography (CT), 乳房x光检查(M), 血管造影术(CI / VI), bone densitometry (BD) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Certificates in medical imaging informatics (CIIP/PARCA) and 医疗 3D 印刷 专家 也可用. All advanced modality coursework counts toward a Bachelor's degree in 医学成像.
Can I do externships at my place of employment?
是的. Many students complete their externships where they work.
Am I eligible to sit for post-primary certification exams when I’m done with the 医学成像 program?
Depending on the coursework you completed, you may have the opportunity to meet the minimum American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) structured education and clinical competency requirements for board certification eligibility. All courses are ARRT approved.
Are online courses set up like an independent study?
No. Every class will progress throughout the semester with the help of the online classroom at PG电子APP. Online courses offer you the flexibility to complete coursework throughout the week per course outline.
Are the instructors who teach online courses available to students?
是的. Communication is encouraged between the faculty and student through email, phone and course discussions.
How long are the externships for the 医学成像 program?
All of the medical imaging externships require a minimum of 180 clinical hours. You may be able to complete the 180 hours during work time with supervisor approval.
